Job Description

The Accounts Executive is responsible for the provision of quality accounting and administrative services contributing to the effective administration of the finance function of the company. The Primary responsibility of this position is to assist the timely, effective and accurate processing tranactions in Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Cash Book and Ledger.

The Overall goal is to meet month-end reporting deadlines and provide sufficient time for analysis and review.

Experience and Knowledge

Experience with Quick Book Accounting Package is essential
Microsoft office package, particularly Excel
Undestanding of Accounting Principles and Standards, financial regulations and laws.

Skills

Numerical Ability and data entry skills
High attention to the details and ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work as part of a self-managing, multi skilled team.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Reasonable level of judgement and decision making skills
Excellent verbal and written commiunication skills

Responsibilities

Handling day to day accounting functions of the company – AP,AR,Ledger posting, Petty Cash
Process month-end supplier accruals & debtors receivables
Maintain proper filing of relevant documentation
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
Focus on continous improvement and effciencies.
Provide assistance with month end procedures,Stock count etc.,
Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the management

Education and Qualifications

ICASL,CIMA part qualification.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
2-3 years of work experience in similar roles in accounting/financial department.
