Job Description

Responsibilities:

Generate and issue invoices to customers at regular intervals.
Process credit memos in accordance with company policies.
Prepare account statements for customers and actively follow up on outstanding payments.
Process, verify, and accurately post receipts obtained from customers.
Monitor all incoming receipts and compile a weekly report detailing outstanding balances.
Conduct checks on supplier invoices in comparison with operational team reports to ensure the accuracy of billed costs and proper accounting.
Submit supplier bills for payment processing on a periodic basis.
Generate financial reports or statements for internal use, contributing to the financial reporting process.
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances.
Undertake any additional ad hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related fields and/or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICASL, CMA, or a full qualification in AAT.
Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
Prior exposure to a logistics organization will be considered advantageous.
Proficiency in using MS Office applications is essential.
Hands-on experience with Accounting Packages will be an additional asset.
Strong communication and leadership skills are crucial for effective collaboration within the team.
The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
