Sterling Automobiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is registered under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 as a limited liability company in 2007. The company operates five fully-fledged Sterling Aftercare Centers island-wide with the aim of providing comprehensive service and repair solutions to Japanese and European vehicles. Sterling Automobiles offers a wide variety of services to clients including vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, collision repairs, and original spare parts and accessories. In addition, many other add-on services are also offered to customers such as Towa Body Coating and vehicle interior and exterior detailing.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and vibrant leader who could be a part of our Team – Customer Care. The selected candidate will perform responsibilities in the Customer Care Department.

The Job

  • Overall responsibility for all 5 Sterling Aftercare Branches’ Customer Care Department’s operations. (Customer Care Front Office, Customer Care Back Office, and Call Center)
  • Responsible for developing and applying customer service standards to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries/concerns and understand their needs by developing effective solutions.
  • Responsible for the training, coaching, and evaluating the performance of department workers within their area of responsibility.
  • Interdepartmental collaboration as required to implement, improve, and maintain company service standards.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on client activity and engagement on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer relationship management.

The Person

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a professional qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a service-related organization.
  • Experience in the Automotive sector will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Verbal) and in local languages.
  • Interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and staff relationships.
  • Candidate should be result-oriented and should have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain high standards.
