Job Title: Management Accountant (Executive & Assistant Manager Category)

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Management Accountant to join their healthcare organization as a Management Accountant. You will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to ensure the effective and efficient operation of their healthcare facility.

Special Highlights:

Professionals with good experience in management accounting with experience in working for large-scale organizations, experience in the healthcare sector would be an added advantage and preferably part or fully qualified in ACCA.


– Gross Salary – Rs. 100K – 200K+

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Control and Management: Monitor and control costs related to healthcare services, supplies, and equipment. Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality of care.
  2. Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial plans. Provide support and guidance to department heads in managing their budgets effectively.
  3. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, to track and report on key financial metrics.
  4. Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in financial workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Streamline financial reporting processes and reduce manual data entry.
  5. Decision Support: Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making by healthcare leadership. Participate in cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement healthcare initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fully/Partly qualified in ACCA or CIMA
  • Degree in Finance would be an added advantage
  • Overall 4+ years of experience and experience in the healthcare sector would be an added advantage
