Role Description

With OCTAVE now poised for further growth we are looking for an assistant manager to support our senior management team to pursue its commercial aspirations. We’re known as a pure play advanced analytics practice and we have aspirations to bring our capability to a larger audience in time to come. The role as an assistant manager will provide the capability to build our external value creation moving forward. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all areas of business, with specialized skills in sales & marketing fundamentals, coordinating, presentations and relationship management. The assistant manager will be an inspiring team member who’s ready to ensure productivity and quality performance to achieve our long-term company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a complete understanding of the specific goals, objectives, and audiences of OCTAVE and our potential customers
  • Help enrich a well-developed and high-performing team that works together effectively for customer acquisition & retention
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the company is providing consistently excellent value-driven services
  • Set objectives and schedules to achieve and exceed company productivity and sales goals
  • Monitor performance and report on progress
  • Support in implementing & Adherence to policies and procedures
  • Support any other ongoing projects and work as needed to ensure we maintain the work currently being delivered while we build for future

Required Skills & qualifications:

  • Degree in business management, marketing, or related
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Background in sales
  • Experience in using any CRM
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and software
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and flexible
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills both verbal and written.
