Job Description

Requirements

·        Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory frameworks.

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience in company secretarial practice is mandatory.

·        Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to work under pressure and on tight schedules.

Responsibilities

·        Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

·        Assist in organizing board meetings and preparing meeting agendas and minutes.

·        Support the development and implementation of corporate governance frameworks and policies.

·        Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Preferred qualifications:

·        Fully qualified Chartered Secretary (UK or Sri Lanka) or an Attorney-at-Law (Registered Company Secretary)

·        Experience in trademark-related matters would be an added advantage.
