The Assistant Manager – Network Planning is responsible for leading the network planning for all promotions while working with Supply chain, Customer Marketing, Brands and External Service providers. Assistant Supply Planning Manager – Networks and Promotion planning will be a key stakeholder in Activity planning process as to drive the networks on time in full with no business waste.

How would you create a better world?

  • Lead network planning process for all ITO driven promotions.
  • Act as a single point responsibility for the promotion activities integrating supply chain functions with Brands, Customer Marketing and Customer Development.
  • Initiate and maintain networks and projects for all promotions.
  • Lead monthly network review meetings and asses any constraints, issues to the business.
  • Assess promotional mechanics, volumes, costing and their impact to the business.
  • Construct promotion loss tree and thereby identifying reasons for promo loss and implementing action plans to minimize the business loss for future operations.
  • Responsible for all VAS operations and VAS third parties and ensure VAS capacities are in line with the company plans and initiate necessary actions.
  • Drive the cost saving models at VAS operations to ensure non-material supply chain cost savings will be driven in a rigorous manner.
  • Oversee the promotional operation process.
  • Ensure that activity planning policy has been strictly followed.
  • Ensure minimum write off of promotions by monitoring the off take and SLOB and ensure alternative plans are established to exhaust stocks.
  • Hold accountability for on time activity delivery hence responsible for initiating activity risks proactively for 6 weeks dynamic window and make continuous improvements to reduce unanticipated volatility.
  • Set up effective means of communications and integration of information between promotion planning and other related functions.
  • Attend activity planning meetings and drive activities rigorously.
  • Ensure VAS related Third Party payments are made within the given credit period and keep zero due outstanding in the operational run.
  • Maintain promotion related inventory at set target and making continuous improvements to enhance output capacity and reduce the work in progress inventory leveraging DOH efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly planning meeting with VAS operations and highlight if there any issues, organize weekly review meeting with VAS operations and discuss the performance of VAS (Quality/Operations reliability/Capacity).
  • Drive promo stock reconciliation in VAS and ensure there is no variances.
  • Drive zero business waste model in VAS operation. Stock pre-build with supply planners every quarterly and do capacity calculations for VAS monthly and monitor and review the pre-build weekly.
  • Ensure to get all VAS related reports on time to the relevant stake holders.
  • Ensure Quality parameters are set and followed effectively in all promotion related activities in finished goods & VAS operation to provide customers and cos a quality product.

What’s important for you to have in this position?

Candidate Should

  • Be a graduate in Engineering, Supply chain Management, Logistics or related to field, with 1-2 years of experience in similar discipline (experience in FMCG will be an advantage)
  • Possess strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
  • Have the ability to drive and deliver future fit projects supported with digital transformation.
  • Have the ability to drive thought leadership with strong inter-personal skills.
