Work with U.S. Startups and C-Suite Executives as an Oceans Associate Demand Planner

About Oceans

The Role: Associate Demand Planner
Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Associate Demand Planners.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize large volumes of data to support data-driven decision making
  • Prepare data and reports for cross-functional teams
  • Assist with analyzing sales data and identifying key trends
  • Assist with running pricing models and scenarios
  • Setup templates and streamline the data transformation process
  • Assist with developing forecast models to estimate future demand

Requirements:

  • Language: Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Demand Planner or Supply Planner
  • Essential Skills:
    • Highly proficient with both MS Excel and Google Sheets
    • Methodical with a keen eye for details
    • Ability to look at raw data and understand outliers
    • Nimble with changing priorities
  • Education: Undergraduate degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Economics; related work experience accepted
