Job Description: 

As a Business development executive at Ekerest, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals. Your primary focus will be on selling our commercial cleaning services to businesses in and around Colombo and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and target potential clients within the specified industries and sectors. 
  • Build and maintain a database of potential clients through research, networking, referrals, and effective lead generation strategies. 
  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and personalized introductions to initiate contact with potential clients. 
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business. 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline and converting leads into customers. 
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service, address client inquiries and concerns, and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. 
  • Pre pair quotes , find and participate in tenders and prepare all relevant sales documents 

Qualifications: 

– Excellent Communications Skills ( English & Sinhala) 

– Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment. 

– Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients. 

– Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented mindset. 

– Exceptional negotiation and closing skills. 

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

– Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 

– Proficient in using Ms Office Products and other sales tools. 

– Knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry and understanding of client needs and pain points is a plus. 

– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
