Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for our clients. Your expertise in cloud technologies, architecture, and best practices will play a critical role in driving our cloud transformation initiatives and helping our clients achieve their business objectives in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-based architectures and solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical cloud solutions.
• Develop cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and execution, to enable clients to transition from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
• Provide expertise and guidance on selecting appropriate cloud services and technologies based on client requirements, industry best practices, and cost optimization.
• Develop architecture blueprints, design patterns, and best practices to enable consistent and efficient cloud solution deployments.
• Conduct cloud infrastructure assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, implementing appropriate controls and measures to protect client data and ensure data privacy in the cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure successful implementation and integration of cloud solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, assessing their potential impact and relevance to our clients’ needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the team, mentoring and fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience Five years of working as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or a similar role, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Certification in one or more cloud platforms is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, principles, and best practices, including microservices, server less computing, containerization, and DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including virtual private clouds, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Proficient in designing highly available and fault-tolerant architectures in the cloud, utilizing features like auto-scaling, multi-region redundancy, and disaster recovery.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex requirements and translate them into practical and scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
