We are looking for a content writer who must be creative, passionate about creating stories or messages via contents for videos and posts, and have an eye for detail.
Requirements and skills
1. Proven work experience at least 1 year as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
2. Portfolio of published articles, posts
3. Experience doing research using multiple sources
4. Familiarity with web publications
5. Excellent writing and editing skills in English & Sinhala
6. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Facebook/Insrtagram/Lindkin)
7.Ability to meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Submit work for input and approval
2. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
3. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
4. Promote content on social media
5. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
6. Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
7. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
8. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
