Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as managing data warehousing concepts. Your expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and working with both relational and non-relational databases will be essential to our organization’s success. Additionally, experience in streaming real-time and batch data with Python, data visualization, and familiarity with cloud platforms will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes
• Design and implement efficient data pipelines to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and quality.
• Perform data modeling and database design to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Work with both relational and non-relational databases
• Stream real-time and batch data using Python to enable timely and accurate data analysis.
• Utilize data visualization tools, such as Looker Studio, to present insights and facilitate decision-making.
• Actively participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and embrace DevOps practices.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of machine learning (ML) solutions for data analysis and prediction.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in Data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline creation.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience in streaming real-time and batch data using Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Looker Studio.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to machine learning (ML) concepts and implementation is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
