Job Description

We are a UK headquartered technology services company running the world’s leading veterinary scheduling SaaS cloud platform. Our scheduling and monitoring services are used by veterinary practices around the globe to acquire more clients, provide a better service, and increase clinician productivity.

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would work with the Dev and Ops team members in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement our globally distributed cloud infrastructure on AWS and other cloud providers.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for development, testing, and deployment activities.
Release management, cross-team coordination, and ensuring on-time production deployments.
Engage in production system monitoring activities such as application and infrastructure monitoring, disaster recovery planning, log, metric aggregation, etc.
Ensure compliance and security in line with ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.

Requirements:

Experience managing Linux/Unix-based server infrastructure. Experience with Windows is advantageous but optional.
Strong understanding of cloud computing services (AWS or any alternative) with 1-2 years of hands-on experience.
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, SQL, and Docker.
Good understanding of at least 1 scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience in Terraform, ELK, Kubernetes, or Cloud Formation would be a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
