We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to manage and optimize our e-commerce platforms across brands, drive online sales growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Manage and oversee e-commerce platforms across brands, ensuring smooth operations, optimal functionality, and driving online sales growth.
- Develop and implement an e-commerce product roadmap to maximize revenue and improve conversion rates.
- Utilize SEO optimization techniques, tools, and analytics to improve organic search rankings, increase website visibility, and drive traffic.
- Enhance customer engagement and loyalty through the Spa Ceylon Rewards platform and related functions.
- Utilize emerging technologies to promote online activity, customer engagement, and innovation in digital marketing.
- Manage live shopping events and other sales activations to enhance the online shopping experience and drive sales.
- Utilize third-party communication tools such as bulk SMS and targeted campaigns for effective customer engagement.
- Identify and implement strategic solutions to address problem areas in the systems and improve overall performance.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, user behavior, and sales data using tools like Google Analytics and similar heat map tools to provide actionable insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, content, and customer care, to ensure alignment and drive cohesive strategies.
- Provide suggestions and insights on product selection to enhance the product assortment and meet customer demands.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify slow-moving or non-moving products and propose strategies to improve their performance.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to develop product bundles and promotional offers that drive sales and improve the customer experience.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and provide recommendations for product enhancements or new product launches.
- Assist in monitoring the pricing competitiveness of our products in the market and propose adjustments if necessary.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and make recommendations for improvements or new promotional initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries or issues related to products, pricing, or promotions.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, product performance, and customer feedback to support data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or IT, MIS, or related field.
- Proven experience in an e-commerce role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, and bespoke CRM and loyalty systems.
- Expertise in SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, SendGrid, Klaviyo, and Mandrill.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep to strict deadlines.
