Job Overview
While being responsible for all electrical engineering duties of the plant, ensure the smooth operation of all maintenance operations of the plant to ensure on-time production and minimize downtime due to electrical-related issues.
Responsibilities
• Proposing, estimating, planning, implementing, and developing all new electrical projects
• Analyzing, identifying drawbacks, and suggesting and implementing developments in the existing systems
• Coordinating and handling all electrical repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Handling of electrical installation and preventive maintenance work of new machines
• Overseeing the proper maintenance of power & control systems of machinery, power feeding & distribution, AC/DC motors and drives up to 1500kW, PLC-controlled automated systems with SCADA, hydraulic systems including industrial power packs, generators, synchronizing panels and ATS panels and compressors, chillers, and boilers.
• Overseeing the maintenance of stock levels of items required for electrical maintenance work and following up on the re-ordering of complex machine components etc.
Experience
• 5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineer with exposure to Electrical Maintenance, CAPEX and Continuous Improvement Projects
• Hands-on experience as stated in the tire manufacturing process will be an added advantage.
Education/ Attributes
• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• An innovative result-oriented individual with a positive attitude
