What you will do

• Maintain accurate accounting and assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Be the financial controller and ensure timely payments to suppliers and employees
• Maintain receipts and records for all transactions
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks
• Lead procurement and purchase of office supplies and manage vendor relationships
• Ensuring office premise is kept in ideal working condition by coordinating with all relevant vendors
• Coordinate logistics of equipment delivery and pickup

What we expect

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance
• 2 years of industry experience in a similar capacity 
• Hands-on experience in financial management and reporting
• Knowledge and experience in accounting, tax laws, and regulations in Sri Lanka
• Attention to detail and a deep focus on accuracy 
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Fluent in the English language 
• Ability to use spreadsheets and accounting software
• Fully or partly qualified in CIMA/ACCA/CA/CMA would be an advantage
