Job Description

Position Purpose and Scope

  • Ownership of Quality practices through a team of FQA/VQA across multiple production locations
  • Manage FQA/VQA teams to ensure that factories have proper production process controls foundations in place aligned with QMS Foundations.
  • Accountable for 3rd party management and oversight within own Suppliers
  • Responsible for driving Vendor performance management, carrying out risk analysis of supply vendors, and ensuring formulated corrective action plans cover all changes in production
  • Escalates concerns to immediate manager/Director for resolution and follow-through when issues or non-compliance is identified or raised by the team
  • Ensure finished products are in compliance with all design specifications and meet all required quality standards signed off during PP stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual goals and follow up on KPI quarterly with management level align with corporate
  • Oversight of team’s performance and develop training plans to cover expectations (FQA/VQA review & oversight performance). Develop team throughout the year to ensure there is a solid understanding of all QA deliverables and expectations
  • Periodic meetings with ME teams to review Key Partner’s CAP’s, align vendor performance and Roadmaps.
  • Field visits and meetings with vendors/factories on Vendor performance, quality issues resolutions, and QMS implementation.
  • Quarterly reporting on vendor quality performance, with main KPI’s and action plans.
  • Attend PP meetings (align with QMS) and manage FQA to ensure that all manufacturing risks are mitigated during the final PP sign-off during the risk assessment process.
  • Manage Inline/Final Inspections FQA/VQA teams align with QMS
  • Oversight 3rd party inspections
  • Facility Onboarding Factory process in the fields
  • Ensure transparency and adherence to the escalation process when escalation is required.
  • Follow up with factories on any DC inspection or any other quality callouts (using QC tools)
  • Work and provide feedback to the training manager in terms of training needs to develop new training programs or modify/improve existing programs for the internal team, as well as support VQP/VQA training and certification process, provide feedback and data on VQA performance
  • Continuous updates in defect library and training to the teams.


  • Diploma holder in a relevant field, IE preferred
  • 10-12 years of relevant working experience
  • 5 years in a management level
  • Experience in apparel production, quality, and special projects on efficiency, SWAT support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with multiple internal and external parties
  • Team builder
  • Strong ability to analyze issues and solve problems
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken), as well as Chinese
