JOB DESCRIPTION OF COACH
This is YOUR chance to work with the world’s Newest Theory of HIART the pioneers of introducing a new workout to the industry that will shake the fitness industry. Our network in High-Intensity Interval Training (HIART). Join FHIIT HQ Sri Lanka and make a difference to our community.
As the Coach of FHIIT you play a fundamental role within the team and the company as you lead the classes and the entire facility is under your supervision. Working closely with your team members to provide an ultimate FHIIT experience to its members is your responsibility. As the Coach you will manage and train Assistant Coaches, under the guidance and leadership of the Management and Senior Head Coach. You will be assigned to assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day and promote the FHIIT brand through all platforms.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS
-Supporting the Management and Head Coach with all front office operations including cash registry, inventory and memberships.
-Supporting the Head Coach in setup the HIIT space and Weight Area prior to commencing sessions
-Ensure the facility is in good condition and well-maintained for member’s use
-Assisting the Senior Head Coach and Head Coach Collaborate with other trainers and instructional designers to create cohesive and comprehensive training programs
-Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant trainers
-Assisting the Management to promote and sell programs and activities offered by the gym to members and potential corporates
-Ensuring all fitness equipment is in perfect working order Evaluating sessions and their content and modifying it where necessary
-Designing exercise routines together with the Senior Head Coach and Head Coach workouts to suit all ages, abilities, and needs
-Promote an energetic environment and create a culture of family at FHIIT
-Understanding the current market needs for the fitness industry and implementing new strategies for potential business
Qualifications
-We can teach you the FHIIT ways and make you become the best version of yourself but true passion for helping people must be present in every FHIIT Coach.
-Current Certified Personal Trainer qualification from one of the following: ACE, ASCA, ACSM, NSCA, NASM
-Current CPR/AED and First Aid certificates
-Minimum of one (3-5) year of experience in personal training or group fitness
-Punctuality. Excellent time management
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to engage and develop strong relationships with clients
-Happy, positive, enthusiastic and friendly personality
-Abiity to teach technique and form to other staff and clients
-Abiity to Lead a team
-Should be updated on new research on fitness
