Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as the Head of Finance and Administration. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our company. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Monitor and prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing valuable insights to the management team. You will oversee the daily liquidity position and efficiently manage funds and expenses to minimize financial costs to the company.
  • Financial Accounting: As an accountable professional, you will develop and implement an effective financial accounting function in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting.
  • Business Compliance: Ensure proper business governance and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will liaise with financial institutions, auditors, the Department of Inland Revenue, Department of Labour, Sri Lanka Customs, and other external institutions to maintain compliance.
  • Statutory Compliance: Review tax returns and other statutory legal documents, ensuring adherence to internal and external financial and accounting policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Administration & Human Resource Management: Oversee key functional areas of Administration and Human Resource Management, working in tandem with the respective teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Required Competencies:

  • Professional Qualifications: Be an associate member of ICASL, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA, showcasing your dedication to the finance profession.
  • Educational Background: Hold a degree in Accounting & Finance or Finance and General Management, providing a solid foundation for your expertise.
  • Relevant Experience: Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Senior Executive Capacity, demonstrating your ability to lead and deliver results.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with various stakeholders and effectively communicate financial insights.
  • Positive Attitude: Approach challenges with a positive attitude, driving a culture of enthusiasm and collaboration.
  • Leadership Abilities: Display the ability to multitask effectively and lead teams with finesse, inspiring others to achieve their best.

Remuneration:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary in the range of 150,00 to 160,00 LKR per month
