Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making on strategic initiatives, investments, and operational planning.
  • Work closely with the Finance Head and other finance functional leads to provide financial analysis and insights for business decisions.
  • Compile and scrutinize financial data to generate various reports such as Management reports and Board reports.
  • Evaluate and interpret financial information to create Product P&L and Channel P&L.
  • Develop and assess financial information to formulate multiple reports, including CSMT reports, Competitor analysis reports, reports to Business units, and Annual Report (non-financial).
  • Create variance reports and analysis for actual vs budgeted performance, identifying key drivers of variance and making recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, as needed, to support business decisions.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Monitor and track financial performance against established KPIs and targets.
  • Lead automation of MI and leverage data analytics to provide timely and effective information.

Candidate Profile:

  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Membership in ICASL, CIMA, or ACCA is essential.
  • Strategic ability and sound business judgment.
  • Building high-performance teams and developing people.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
