Your role is to:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives and contribute to the growth and profitability of the eCommerce venture.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including inventory management, order fulfillment, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and efficient stock levels.
  • Monitor and improve order processing workflows to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, shipment, and delivery to customers.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality customer service standards, ensuring customer inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to ensure alignment and seamless coordination across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of eCommerce systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of operations professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards related to eCommerce operations.

A little bit about you:

  • Should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree in the same discipline will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in eCommerce operations, supply chain management, or a related field, with leadership experience and managing a PNL or cost center.
  • In-depth knowledge of eCommerce industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving eCommerce environment
