Sabre Travel Solutions is looking for a talented Head of Sales

The Head of Sales for Sri Lanka will manage the Sabre Travel Network Lanka Pvt Ltd sales initiatives through a period of rapid growth and exciting change. This individual is ultimately responsible for the sales performance of the Sri Lanka market. Along with a team of high performers, the Head of Sales will develop and execute Sri Lanka & South Asia business growth strategies aligned with TN APAC strategic direction. Achieve and exceed sales targets, manage and strengthen appropriate local business relationships with key suppliers, subscribers, and industry players.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Managing a high-performance sales team that is focused on achieving sales and market share growth for the market.
  • Managing and executing sales plans for the market, while tracking and reporting progress.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with Travel Agency customers, Airline representatives, and other key contacts within the travel ecosystem.
  • Maintain a high level of customer involvement with responsibility for establishing Sabre as the market leader in this segment.
  • Implement localized country strategy to execute TN APAC’s Sales Strategies.
  • Support the long-term strategic plan for profitable growth in the region. Execute and review the sales plan periodically to adjust to market changes.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets profitably.
  • Execute an annual sales plan to achieve the following:
    • Bookings targets for all categories.
    • Profit targets.
    • Market share targets.
  • 100% audit compliance with all company policies.
  • Execute the sales and marketing plan, working closely with the regional sales and marketing process owners.
  • Drive adoption of solutions and practices in line with Sabre TN regional direction.
  • Manage the organization for profitable & sustainable growth.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • 10 years leadership experience in a sales role
  • Graduate qualification in business preferred
  • Strong sales execution focus & track record
  • Experience in the airline, travel, or technology industries with a proven track record in building profitable businesses. Passion for leading and developing people and building high-performance teams
  • Strategic thinker, with a credible track record operating in a highly matrixed environment, focusing on continuous process improvement, revenue growth, and profitability
  • Language skills – fluent in English and well-versed with the local language an added advantage
