Job Description


The job is placed in a Managerial position and the selected candidate would be responsible for aligning the business objectives with the people strategy and is expected to make a significant contribution to strategy discussions, execute strategy, recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives. The candidate should be a conduit between the HR expert center and the business line to manage people challenges – especially talent, performance and change. He/she will provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, manpower planning and succession planning. The ideal candidate will also manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and work closely with the Senior Manager – HR Business Partnering to analyze, develop and implement solutions, programmes and policies.

– Bachelor’s degree in HR/PQHRM/MSc or MBA in HR
– Minimum 4-5 years experience in a Managerial Role
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Thorough numerical skills to handle business complexities
– Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, analytical and creative thinking skills
– Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable labour laws, guidance, regulations, ordinances and policies
– Work experience in the plantation industry/unionized environment will be an added advantage
