Job Description

The role of an IT Business Partner is to serve as a strategic liaison between the IT department and various business units within the company. The IT Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Relationship Management:
  2. Strategic Planning:
  3. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  4. Solution Design and Evaluation:
  5. Project Management:
  6. Change Management: Facilitate the adoption of new technology solutions within the organization. Work with business units to define change management strategies, including communication plans, training programs, and user support. Ensure smooth transition and user acceptance of implemented solutions.
  7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  8. IT Governance and Compliance:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, working closely with business units and IT teams.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and technology landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Project management skills to lead and deliver technology projects on time and within budget.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex business and technology challenges.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
