Job Description

ZUSE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technical Officer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Technical Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide timely resolution.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitor and manage the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support and assistance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and system upgrades.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect company data.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and user guides.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Technical Officer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security principles, and data backup solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
