Job Description
We are currently seeking a Management Associate to join our team. As a part of the Results and Resources Management Team, you will provide support to the leadership in overseeing and managing the country programme. Your responsibilities will include managing data, facilitating the implementation of initiatives, and ensuring the effective delivery of development results. You will also work closely with the communications team to promote the publication and dissemination of programme and project results.

Key Responsibilities:
– Providing effective support to oversight and management performance initiatives.
– Contributing to the management of the pipeline system and processes within the office.
– Monitoring and ensuring the timely closure of projects.
– Supporting annual work planning processes and aligning work plans with project milestones.
– Collecting and analyzing data on key management aspects of the portfolio performance.
– Supporting risk management and monitoring & evaluation activities.
– Ensuring the application of a results-based management approach for planning and monitoring.
– Leading the refinement of results frameworks and monitoring programme results.
– Supporting the design and implementation of monitoring plans.
– Conducting monitoring field visits.
– Facilitating knowledge building and knowledge sharing activities.
– Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
– Secondary education is required, while a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
– Certification in programme/project management and/or accounting/audit areas is desirable.
– At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, finance, or programme management.
– Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other office software packages.
– Strong knowledge of UNDP’s policies and procedures on programme and project management.
– Fluency in English is required.
– Fluency in the national language of the duty station is required for local staff.
