Job Description

We are in the process of creating a team of dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated leaders who will support our business operation at the Ibbagamuwa facility.

Manager HR-Admin and Compliance – Ibbagamuwa Facility

You should be a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in HR and Compliance, possessing an inquisitive mindset to understand and fulfill HR and Compliance requirements.

Key job specifications:
– Ability to develop, maintain, and execute the company’s HR strategies to meet business requirements, in accordance with the legal framework.
– Ability to lead skill development and personal development strategies to meet the company’s skill requirements.
– Ability to enhance team synergy and optimize business performance through HRD functions.
– Ability to identify current and future training needs within the organization, aligned with the TNA.
– Ability to oversee the performance management process in coordination with HODs.
– Ability to actively engage employees through HR functions and engagement activities with the HRD team.
– Facilitate annual performance-based pay reviews as required.
– Ensure compliance alignment through internal auditing and monitoring.
– Take the lead in social, H&S, and environmental audits such as WRAP, ETI, Higg Index, GPM, SLCP, and GOTS.

Key personal specifications:
– BSc, Masters, or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management and OSH from a recognized university or institution.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in the apparel industry.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly and address employees’ suggestions and grievances.
– Sound knowledge of labor compliance, health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Good human relations, motivational, and negotiation skills.
– In-depth knowledge of labor and H&S compliance tools such as WRAP, ETI, Higg Index, and SLCP.
