Job Description


The Operations Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire APAC partner operation processes and resolution of defects through managing the logistics partners & Operations Support team within the APAC region. The role is remote basis (within the APAC countries), Reporting to the Vice President of APAC, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operational processes and meeting client requirements through Operational Excellence and Performance Management (OEPM).


Team Management and Leadership:

  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to the Ops Support team (on a remote basis), fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within designated timelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development, supporting the professional growth of team members.
  • Client and Partner Relations:
  • Ensure alignment of client expectations with logistics partner performances throughout the APAC region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as operations and client services, as well as external clients.
  • Proactively address client inquiries and concerns and collaborate with the team to provide timely and effective solutions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Drive operational excellence by implementing and maintaining efficient processes as well as to ensure managing & preventing the defects reported from the operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize analytics tools and techniques to analyze operational data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for process optimization and performance improvement.
  • Update Choice procedures and operating systems to align with changing client

Communication and Reporting:

  • Establish a strategic communication cadence with Ops Support staff and partners, emphasizing alignment, performance, and solutions delivery.
  • Prepare and present reports to internal and external clients and partners, including key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory inquiries, and other relevant metrics.
  • System Enhancements and Support:
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements that can improve operational efficiency and effectiveness for clients, partners, and Choice Logistics.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement system enhancements and support the integration of technology solutions.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 to 10+ Years of APAC Logistics/Supply Chain Experience
  • 5+ Years of Customer Facing Experience
  • Proven work experience in operations management, supply chain management, or a similar role, with a focus on client support and partner management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal, Written, and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management systems, as well as reporting tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English and additional Asian languages would be preferred (e.g.: Hindi/Tamil, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa, etc.)
