Job Description

Job Duties

Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed
Developing schedules and methods for measuring results
Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
Responsible for monitoring and controlling of running cost against estimated and take appropriate actions when required
Responsible for preparation of progress bills for both client and sub contractors and obtaining payment certificates for timely payments
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services
Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications

Qualifications

Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in the filed
PMP qualification would be an added advantage
Experience in handling projects in Information Technology filed would be an added advantage
An ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Assess and communicate risks based on complexity, resource, and timeline constraints
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence the outcome
Should be able to communicate fluently in English/Sinhala Languages
Should be a team player
