Job Description

Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify test scenarios, develop automated test cases, and analyze test results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Work closely with the development team to debug and resolve software defects.
  • Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to contribute to the improvement of the testing process.
  • Document test procedures, test cases, and test results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of work experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. e.g. Selenium
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
