Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in manual testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to identify and address potential defects and ensure a seamless user experience. Your primary responsibility will be to design, execute, and document manual test cases, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Create, review, and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance

2. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution

3. Conduct thorough regression testing to verify software stability after bug fixes and enhancements

4. Collaborate with the product team to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

5. Collaborate with the development team to ensure testability of software features and provide early feedback during the development process

6. Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

7. Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues

8. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent academic qualification

2. Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven with a focus on manual testing

3. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices

4. Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases

5. Experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla, to report and track defects

6. Solid knowledge of different testing techniques, such as functional, regression, integration, and usability testing

7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

9. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

10. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
