Job Role Description

Office Resident Manager, your role is to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office or workplace. You will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks, supporting different departments, and managing day-to-day operations.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating office activities
  • Handling communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervising administrative staff
  • Maintaining office facilities and resources
  • Involvement in financial management, human resources tasks, and records management

Your ability to organize, communicate effectively, and solve problems will contribute to the overall productivity and success of the office environment.


  • Manage the office by assigning and monitoring daily target works of staff.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the foreign office and international clients by emails, calls, video calls, messages, etc.
  • Maintain and monitor daily updated task lists/schedules of work assigned to staff and follow progress and deadlines till submissions.
  • Maintaining and managing documentation.
  • Managing/Monitoring the billing/Invoicing and payment collection
  • Daily and weekly progress reporting to management
  • Staff attendance, leave, and payroll management.
  • Maintaining a pleasant office environment
  • Building company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintaining and continually upgrading the online presence of the company. (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and website)
  • To adhere to OPAL SL company policies and procedures at all times.
  • To undertake any other duties as appropriate within competence as required from time to time.


Description – Mandatory / Minimum – Desired / Preferred


Degree in architecture, QS, or Diploma in any design or construction-related subject, wood processing or equivalent or Experience in management. We are looking for a positive-minded, active, and self-motivated individual for this position. Knowledge in QS, Estimation, AutoCAD, REVIT, Office package and good knowledge in Excel and Outlook, Staff and Office management.


Microsoft Word, Excel, PM, Visio, Powerpoint, Auto CAD, REVIT


Construction, Fit-Out & Joinery, Drivers License – Preferred


English, Singhala
