Job Description

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

The ideal candidate should possess:

A Proven track record of sales in IT products and solutions.
Ability to develop and manage relationships with partners, vendors and end users to build the business.
Ability to develop and execute business plans for strategic growth.
Ability to negotiate contracts with strategic partners and serve as representatives of their organizations.
Ability to present effective sales presentations and manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
Willingness to travel out of Colombo if necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

2-4 years’ experience in sales for IT products and service solutions.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and organizational skills are required.
A professional qualification in Management, Marketing or IT will be an added advantage.
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
