Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth for our company. Your primary focus will be on meeting potential clients, closing deals, and leveraging online platforms like Upwork to secure projects. If you have a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and engage potential clients: Proactively research and identify potential clients in the target market. Develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs, industry trends, and competitors to effectively tailor sales strategies.
  2. Conduct sales meetings and presentations: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements, present our company’s products/services, and showcase the value proposition. Deliver compelling sales presentations to effectively communicate the benefits of our offerings.
  3. Close deals and achieve sales targets: Employ consultative selling techniques to understand client pain points and offer suitable solutions. Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company policies and pricing guidelines. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
  4. Maintain client relationships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Proactively address client concerns, manage expectations, and provide exceptional customer service. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  5. Utilize online platforms: Leverage online platforms, such as Upwork, to identify relevant projects and submit compelling proposals. Effectively communicate with clients, negotiate terms, and secure new projects.
  6. Market research and competitive analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities, assess customer needs, and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, promotional materials, and sales campaigns. Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings based on client feedback and market demands.
  8. Sales reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including client interactions, deals closed, and revenue generated. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with clients at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
  • Familiarity with online platforms for lead generation and sales, such as Upwork.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and competitive analysis.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
