Job Description

  • Senior Business Intelligence and Data Engineer

  • About the job

  • Perform exploratory data analysis, advanced reporting, data modeling, and visualizations

  • Conduct deep dives into various factors impacting business, content, and financial performance

  • Provide analytical support to all internal stakeholders

  • Create and maintain existing dashboards in Looker

  • Support the business by creating automated reporting processes

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to understand their data needs

  • Mandatory requirements

  • Must be available to work between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm United States Eastern Time

  • 8+ years of experience in Leadership Reporting/Team Lead analytic roles

  • 4+ years of proficiency with Python – Notebooks data manipulation

  • Prior experience with subscription, financial reporting, and analysis is a plus

  • Must have advanced level SQL knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with analyses around marketing effectiveness, revenue, and modeling of customer cohorts

  • Other requirements

  • Experience with Redshift, Jupyter Notebooks, Looker, Business Analysis, Data Visualization

  • Experience with producing meaningful insights, creating ad hoc reports and dashboards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong project management skills
