Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing social media accounts, and engaging with the online community to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve marketing goals. Your expertise in social media platforms, content creation, and community management will be instrumental in building and growing our brand’s presence across various digital channels.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to build brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive website traffic across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
2. Create engaging, relevant, and shareable content tailored to each social media platform, ensuring consistency with the brand’s tone and messaging.
3. Manage and monitor social media accounts, including daily content scheduling, moderation, and community engagement. Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, creative, and customer service, to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
5. Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in social media marketing.
6. Utilize social media analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including reach, engagement, conversions, and sentiment analysis. Use insights to optimize strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
7. Identify and engage with influencers, brand advocates, and relevant communities to expand reach, drive partnerships, and amplify brand messaging.
8. Stay informed about legal and ethical guidelines related to social media marketing and ensure compliance in all social media activities.
9. Monitor and analyze social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to propose new strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
10. Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and trends on social media platforms, and experiment with new formats and content types to maximize engagement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications in social media marketing are a plus.
2. Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
3. Extensive knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices for content creation and engagement.
4. Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Instagram Insights) to measure and report on campaign performance.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and on-brand social media content.
6. Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics to develop visually appealing social media posts.
7. Ability to manage multiple social media accounts and platforms, with strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with online communities, influencers, and customers in a professional and positive manner.
9. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to improve social media strategies.
10. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities and trends in social media.
