Job Description

We are actively seeking a seasoned PHP Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems or an equivalent qualification. Alongside this, the candidate should have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in commercial PHP application development. A strong understanding of MVC architecture and proficiency in PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter or Laravel is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software applications and web services using the PHP programming language and related tools.
  • Adhere to appropriate software design patterns while developing and maintaining code.
  • Design, develop, and maintain databases using MYSQL, MSSQL, or ORACLE.
  • Create and upkeep documentation for all developed applications and code.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems, or an equivalent field of study.
  • Minimum of two years of industry experience in commercial PHP application development.
  • Thorough knowledge of MVC Architecture and hands-on experience with PHP Frameworks such as CodeIgniter/Laravel.
  • Practical experience in Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML5 is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with REST, WCF, Web API, and SOAP technologies will be an added benefit.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a team environment.
