Job Description

Job Profile

Designation: Specialist- VMware

Required Experience: 2.5 to 5 years

Technical Skills Required:

Hands on experience in VMware ESXi 4.x,5.x,6.x versions.
Configure and manage VMware ESXi hosts and VMware virtual machines.
Knowledge on VMware SRM, VRops.
Patching of ESX servers and VMs with VMware.
Manage ESX and VMs through VCenter server and perform various changes on VMs.
Work on Incident Tickets, Change Tickets and Problem tickets under strict ITIL process.
Hands on experience in supporting Cisco UCS & HP Blade Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3,2K8, 2K12, 2K16 servers with knowledge of NT4.0 File and Printer Administration, Patch administration and deployment, Fine-tune the system for optimal performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment Knowledge on scripting
To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue
To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
