Job Description

VeVe is a digital collectibles platform that offers premium licensed digital collectibles from leading brands such as Disney, Marvel, and DC Comics. We are currently seeking a Texture Artist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for applying textures and materials to 3D models to bring our digital collectibles to life. You will work closely with our production and design team to ensure that the textures align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of our partners.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and visually stunning textures for our digital collectibles
• Collaborate with the production team to implement the artistic vision for each project
• Ensure textures adhere to technical specifications and optimize them for real-time rendering
• Maintain a strong understanding of our brand guidelines
• Work within project deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
• Provide and receive constructive feedback to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Assist in the development and improvement of texturing pipelines and workflows

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Texture Artist or similar role
• Proficiency in industry-standard texturing software
• Strong artistic and visual skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of material properties and lighting/shading effects
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and UV mapping techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Strong communication skills for giving and receiving feedback
• Portfolio showcasing your texture work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific platforms or game engines
• Knowledge of shader development and PBR workflows
• Familiarity with additional relevant software or tools
• Passion for specific genre or style of texturing
