We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Trustee Administrator – Global Trustee and Fiduciary Services

The Opportunity

  • You will provide an extra layer of protection to fund investors by safekeeping the assets of the fund and monitoring the activities of the fund as well as its stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a team providing trustee and fiduciary services to Offshore offices
  • Take individual responsibility for performing and reviewing of team deliverables and sign off to the Offshore locations.
  • Ensure the optimum quality of service and timeliness to clients while meeting our regulatory and fiduciary obligations.
  • Be able to interact confidently with the Offshore colleagues, resolving operational issues, coordinating training sessions and working towards Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Identify, formulate and implement robust control mechanism to eliminate risks
  • Carryout enhancements to procedures, checklists and, internal processes as and when required.
  • Maintain high quality communications with all stakeholders escalating incidents where required.
  • Take up additional responsibilities that may be required to support the on-going management and development of the team.
  • Act as the primary contact for Business Partners in relation to any queries/exceptions and deputize for the Manager in his/her absence.
  • Timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations together with any guidance provided by regulators.
  • Maintain HSBC standards and values at all times in all aspects.

Requirements

  • Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance or significant progress towards a degree or a professional qualification such as CIMA, CISI, or CMA
  • Minimum of 3 Years Work Experience
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets, Financial instruments, Risk and Compliance monitoring will be given preference
  • Knowledge in accounting principles and fundamentals of Accounting will be given preference
  • Excellent communication (Written, Verbal) and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Possess excellent MS Office skills.
  • Attention to details & high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Embrace change, absorb and transfer knowledge at pace.
  • Perseverance and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and multi-tasking skills
