Job Description

  • Position: Full Time Pediatrics Cardiology
  • Schedule: 8 AM-4:30 PM
  • Responsibilities: Coordinate activities of Outpatient Access Specialists, provide training and support, assist with operational aspects, monitor performance.
  • Job Duties: Perform Outpatient Access Specialist duties, handle prior authorizations, referral coordination, and direct provider support.
  • Operational Coordination: Identify and implement operational changes, update/create policies and procedures.
  • Training: Schedule and monitor staff training, develop further education programs.
  • Financial Account Management: Review staff compliance, reconcile discrepancies, make recommendations for workflow updates.
  • Template Management: Maintain clinic schedules, instruct appointment scheduling staff, identify problems and recommend changes.
  • Patient Experience and Employee Engagement: Role model excellent customer service, handle complaints, improve office culture and employee engagement.
  • Other duties: Attend meetings, work on special projects, review workflows, and interface with leaders from different departments.
  • Qualifications: High School Diploma required, 2 years of administrative or customer service experience, medical terminology knowledge.
