Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer who has expertise in Manual/Salesforce testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual testing and should be familiar with the Salesforce platform. They should have a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, perform thorough testing, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive manual testing of Salesforce applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
• Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements across various Salesforce modules.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on potential gaps or ambiguities.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects using issue tracking systems and communicate findings effectively to the development team.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.
• Assist in test environment setup and maintenance, including data preparation and configuration.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in Salesforce testing methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Salesforce Tester with a strong background in manual testing.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and assess their impact.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques is a plus.
