Job Description

We are hiring a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer – IOS for one of our clients.

Positions:

  • Software Engineer (6 months – 1 year experience)
  • Senior Software Engineer (1-3 years of experience)

Requirements:

  • Holding Software Engineer or related positions at the current place of work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of Swift programming language iOS SDK and Xcode.
  • Experience in creating modern, secure, and feature-rich iOS applications from scratch with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience in working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Socket APIs to connect the app to backend services.
  • Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests with XCTest, Quick, Nimble, or related tools.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design, implementation, and release.
  • Experience in implementing microservices-oriented architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with services in AWS or Google Cloud with an understanding of CI/CD and Git strategies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and incorporate them with existing knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work independently as well as with a team.
  • Experience in remote collaboration using appropriate tools in a fully agile environment.
  • Ensure performance, security, scalability, and optimizations while adhering to coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Perform peer code reviews and make suggestions based on experience.
  • Documentation skills and experience in understanding technical documentation.
  • Effectively communicate with the team and clients to resolve any technical issues or challenges.
