Job Number: 23141126 Job Category: Food and Beverage & Culinary Location: Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort, 1 Okanda Road, Kosgoda, Sri Lanka Schedule: Full-Time Position Type: Non-Management Position Summary: – Ensure staff collaboration and excellent service delivery to meet guests’ needs. – Monitor staff grooming and attire, rectifying deficiencies when necessary. – Perform opening and closing duties including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing the area. – Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and proper stock rotation. – Conduct inventories and reorder supplies as needed. – Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. – Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees. – Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. – Follow company policies and safety procedures, report incidents, and complete safety training. – Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality. – Welcome and assist guests, communicate clearly, and develop positive relationships with colleagues. – Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity. – Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, reaching, and bending as necessary. Qualifications: – Ability to read and verify information in various formats. – Visual inspection skills to identify defects in tools and equipment. – Physical agility to stand, sit, walk, lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and maneuver in confined spaces. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
